Airlie is a tranquil and posh environment with a breathtaking natural setting, comfortable spaces, and extravagant hospitality. It is a great place to reconnect with one another, with other couples, and with God. There is an onsite restaurant & bar, as well as a balance of private and communal spaces to help you connect. Airlie is in Warrenton, VA, about 35 minutes from NoVA - just far enough away to feel like a true escape.
Our program will include some content to strengthen communication, promote intimacy, and increase friendship. Group time will also be limited to leave you plenty of time alone as a couple to connect and enjoy the weekend. There are many activities onsite, including walking trails, a top golf swing suite virtual golf machine, fishing, biking, and more. You will be able to do all of it or none of it - this is a retreat for you so you set the pace. Want to enjoy a glass of wine while star gazing? Let's make that happen. Want to walk along wooded trails as you reconnect with your person? We've got that too. Want to laugh while you connect with other couples? We've got that covered as well.
Rooms are recently renovated and include a king or queen bed, a desk, chair, and a private bathroom.
Rooms are well-appointed at 276 sq. ft. They include all that you might need: a hair dryer, flat screen television, ironing board, in room coffee service, and a workspace.
This is a significant investment, but your marriage is worth it! We tried to get this out in time for Christmas, because nothing's better than giving the gift of strong connection and attention to the relationship that matters most! We have broken up the cost into two payments - one due at registration and the balance due later. This event sold out in one day last time, so don't wait to register.
The cost is $1100 per couple and includes lodging, food, and marriage building materials.
• All meals are included in your registration price. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be served in the dining room buffet style and include farm-to-table menu options. There is also Harry's restaraunt & bar onsite and small bites in the top golf swing suite available at your cost. If you want any special food, drinks, or snacks, please bring it with you.
• Don't waste the drive time! Your retreat begins as soon as you pull out of your driveway. We will provide conversations starters, podcasts, recommended stops, and other options to make the most of the drive down to Warrenton.
• Plan to pack for unpredictable weather and whatever outdoor activities you'd like to participate in. The dress will be casual and comfortable throughout the weekend, even at meal times.
• This is a weekend where alcoholic beverages are available and can be consumed. Use wisdom and be responsible - the goal is connect to your spouse, so do what's right for you as a couple. Wine, beer, cocktails and spirits can be purchased at Harry's Bar.
• There is wifi access in the buildings and good cellular service.
• We highly recommend arriving as early as you can on Friday.
